About Us

Durotan Ltd are designers, suppliers and installers of pre-insulated pipe for heating and cooling water distribution.

Established in 1978, Durotan’s involvement in more than 2000 projects has produced a wealth of experience in all aspects of pipe engineering for Community Heating, including Combined Heat and Power, offering a service from conception through to installation, as well as civil engineering works.

Projects carried out for a wide customer base including Universities, Hospitals, Schools, Local Authorities, London Boroughs, MOD, Home Office, CHP Providers, Biomass Heating Installers and Private Industry, have given Durotan the experience to deal effectively with the wide-ranging demands of installing pre-insulated pipes above and below ground.

Durotan are the representatives in the UK and Ireland for the sale and installation of German Pipe^® steel pre-insulated pipe systems to BSEN253.

We also stock Ecoflex coiled PEX flexible pre-insulated pipe systems which we sell directly to plumbing and heating installers in full or cut coils.

Pipe systems for high temperature hot water and steam or for secondary containment of hazardous liquids and gases are also available.
